Biography

I, Ruqayyah Olaide Abdulaziz obtained my LLB degree in Common and Islamic Law in 2007 from University of Ilrin, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. I proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus where I had my BL and was admitted into the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solitictor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in November, 2008. I have been in active law practice since 2008. I had my LLM degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2018. Ruqayyah currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, Universityy of Ilorin. Ruqayyah is Notary Public of Nigeria and an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Arbitrators of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria. I am currently a student of Master of Philosophy in University of Ilorin. I have interest in different aspects of law with particular references to Medical law, International Human Rights Law and public.
