I am Professor in the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. I am the Head of the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. I was the Coordinator of Postgraduate Programmes in the Faculty of Law and a member of the University of Ilorin Postgraduate Board of Studies. I have successfully supervised about Twenty (30) Master’s Degree students and Three (3) Ph.D. students and I currently supervise about Seven (7) Ph.D. students. I have acted as a resource person in many Workshops locally and internationally, particularly at the Workshop on the Future of Decentralisation: Co-existence and Co-prosperity targeted at the Unification of South and North Korea organized by the Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul & Korea Legislative Research Institute on the 20th of June, 2018. I am a Member of Human Dignity: A Constitutional Principle Research Group of the International Association of Constitutional Law Scholars. My Inaugural Lecture titled “Judicialising Politics without Politicising the Judex” was delivered on the 17th of April, 2025 as the 278th in the series of the University’s Inaugural Lecture, 16th in the Faculty of Law and 1st in the Department of Public.
